I reside in onitsha and operate a cold room business with ice block making machines..on the 4th of April 2018,EEDC officials came on a routine visit to our transformer which also houses our MD prepaid meter, as usual we gave them the key.they came back to the office alleging the meter was bypassed, pls bear in mind we were not notified of the reason for their visit hence they went to the meter unescorted by any of our staff.they dropped a paper requesting we go to Enugu to EEDC office room 217. On my way to Enugu the next day, I was informed EEDC officials came and disconnected our business without warning and the outcome of my visit to Enugu was a bill of 37 million eight hundred thousand naira which they say is a penalty we must pay for loss of revenue. Thought it was a joke at first but till today EEDC has refused to reconnect us after we have protested, written, visited their office.i met one chinenyem Okafor at EEDC Enugu who told me bluntly we rather close or pay the bill.

Goodmorning admin and thanks for the reply. To answer ur questions, our feeder is call 33 army feeder which usually has 12-15 hours supply daily, before the meter was installed our bill ranged from 150-300 thousand naira but our least recharge after the installation of the meter is 300,000. The range of our recharge usually is 450-700 thousand after the installation of the meter and I have the recharge slips to prove it but can scan them in pdf cos they are many, will willingly take them to ur office if u need to see them.

Hi Ikechukwu. Let's do this electronically for now. Our offices are in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja at the moment. Coming to us will cause you some inconvenience, so let's keep your travel to a minimum except you absolutely must come. These things can, very often, be solved remotely and at minimal to no cost if you know what to do. Send the documents. After we've looked at them, we'll revert on the next steps. Send a message via WhatApp to 0815-266-3661 once you've sent the documents.

We prefer email pls, if you don't mind. It's easier to review them on a desktop or laptop computer than on a phone. But if scanning represents a challenge, you may send pictures by WhatApp.
