Please I will like to know how the new tariff for charging or billing electricity is like...cos what am getting every month is times two (×2) of previous month paid...if I pay #7k this month,next month they will double it...I dont understand.

Good afternoon.

There is a limit fixed by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission on what each DisCo can charge unmetered customers by estimates.

PHED may be overbilling you, if your tariff classification has not changed over the last few months.

If that is the case, you should ask them to review your bills and remove the excess.
