I paid for the installation of a 3-phase prepaid meter in January 2016. PHED finally installed a 3-phase meter in my residence in mid-May-2018. Between 14-May-2018, and today, 04-July-2018, six (6) different 2-man teams, identified as PHED personel/contractors have paid unscheduled visits to my residence, supposedly on routine inspection of the installed prepaid meter. Over the past 24 hours, another two (2) separate teams, both identified as PHED personnel/contractors, have come to my residence, supposedly on inspection of the same prepaid meter. I am very constrained to have to say that, although I have no objections about granting access to PHED staff/contractors into my premises, it cannot be at the risk of exposing my entire household to avoidable security risks and vulnerabilities caused by their frequent uncoordinated, and unscheduled visits to my residence. I seek your informed advice on what best to do, without necessarily compromising the safety and security of my family. Most worrisome is my observation that none of the previous PHED inspection teams have addressed a long outstanding issue that I had reported to them, (which they confirmed), concerning the supply of only two (2) out of three (3) phases to the meter that they have only recently installed. Please assist. Thank you and best regards. Kombo Mason BRAIDE.
